Hello; Statistics Canada offers some basis for assessing the market potential for internet services as well as highlighting several 'digital divides' (principally along income, education, and age lines), but they offer little insight on what value these services hold for people nor guidance on how to ameliorate the gaps. I am looking for some sources concerning qualitative studies, in (English-speaking) Canada that address policy concerns or studies that have linked Internet policy and ethnographic fieldwork. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tracy L.M. Kennedy Graduate Department of Sociology University of Toronto www.netwomen.ca tkennedy@netwomen.ca ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
