Dear colleagues, We are writing to announce a new discussion group centered on media and communication faculty at small liberal arts colleges. The forum, run on the open source software Mattermost (an alternative to Slack) is free and open to anyone interested, including graduate students interested in liberal arts colleges. The discussion forum is an offshoot of MCFLAC (Media, Communication, and Film Studies Programs at Liberal Arts Colleges; https://mcflac.com<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmcflac.com%2F&data=04%7C01%7Cpark%40MX.LAKEFOREST.EDU%7C319d761498e44c52bf6008d976d6c577%7Cb4478c053dd94e06a7fb5dcf72bd44ee%7C0%7C0%7C637671487645874183%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=SExz0iYE7yvMiDlefea5g9O0R28nj5c9CD4SDuPs82o%3D&reserved=0>), which has hosted an annual symposium since its founding in 2016. The idea of the online forum is to exchange ideas (about course readings or department-review best practices, for example) that could be useful to the community.
