Dear Colleagues, I am just sharing my new opinion article which might be of interest examining the Russian influence operations targeting the US election. I outlined some steps needed to regulate the influence industry and the need to be clear, at least, about what journalism is *not*. In the article, 'From Cambridge Analytica to Tenet Media: What Will it Take for the US to Regulate Influence Firms?' I argue that "There is no speech less ‘free’ than that which is secretly paid for by an authoritarian state to meddle in a democracy." See the link below.
