The Department of Interpersonal Communication in the School of Communication Studies seeks a tenure track assistant professor with expertise in communication and culture to start August 2006. Minimum qualifications include scholarly potential and an effective teaching record. The primary responsibilities are research, service, and teaching undergraduate courses in the Department and graduate courses in the School. We prefer a candidate with a completed Ph.D. and the ability and willingness to fulfill undergraduate curricular needs, such as but not limited to teaching intercultural/international communication, rhetoric, communication theory, argumentation, and/or directing the basic course.
