Hi Everyone, I know this is a topic that comes up a lot, but I'm ashamed to say I haven't been as good as I should be in terms of carefully following discussions about this topic. I'm now teaching a course that is all about becoming a teacher of statistics, and my co-instructor and I would like to discuss alternatives to the traditional textbook. We were hoping to share some readings or web material with students that might give them some good ideas about the issues to consider when adopting electronic textbooks. Do you know of particularly good articles we might share with our students, or any websites or even blogs that might debate the pros and cons of e-books? I am also doing my own searching, but if you have particular references you are fond of, I'd love to hear about them. Thank you for your time and for any suggestions you might have!
