The Internet Goes to College This panel is inspired by the PEW report of the same name ( http://www.pewinternet.org/PPF/r/71/report_display.asp ) and, it is proposed, will feature research that examines similar issues and practices in Colleges five years on. Topics might include: The Internet’s impact on college students’ daily lives. Students’ experiences with online distance education Online plagiarism and plagiarism detection Web-based communication between professors and students or students and students The use of the internet to deliver authentic learning experiences. The integration of web-based learning into the face-to-face classroom.
