The position requires a Ph.D. in communication, media studies, or a related area (ABD acceptable if completed by Summer 2014); deep knowledge of digital and new media, including social media, gaming, mobile media and multimedia communication; ability to teach theoretical and applied courses in digital design, social media and multimedia production; a research track record with potential for national impact; and evidence of excellence in teaching.
