Related problems will include finding innovative network infrastructures, affordable computing, effective software applications, and sustainability policy scheme, social, economics, and regulation issues. The r-ICT 2009 will be a great opportunity for researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and anyone who are interested in any aspect of rural information and communication technologies, to share their ideas and to build a strong network among each others. All submitted papers will be blindly peer-reviewed by international experts and selected outstanding papers will be invited for a publication in a Special Issue of the ITB Journal on ICT and/or internationally published book chapters.
