Dear Charles Ess You can use the example of Faz?l Say, a famaous Turkish pianist, received a jail penalty because of retweeting a poem from Omer Hayyam. He was sued according to Penalty Code. In deed his tweet/retweet in thiscase was just expression of idea.

I totally agree. Sina Weibo is a very interesting case. The way how the Chinese online censorships is developing in China sounds very close to the case presented by Prof. Ess.
