Hi Anna, VOSON (Virtual Observatory for the Study of Online Networks) will do what you want. It is available as both a web application (VOSON System) and a plugin to NodeXL (http://nodexl.codeplex.com) which is an Excel 2007/2010 template for social network analysis. Information about the tools and research can be found here: http://voson.anu.edu.au. We are now signing up accounts here: http://www.uberlink.com. Other commonly-used web crawlers that I'm aware of are SocSciBot (http://socscibot.wlv.ac.uk/) and Issuecrawler (https://www.issuecrawler.net/) Rob ------------------------------------- Dr Robert Ackland Fellow and Masters Coordinator, Australian Demographic and Social Research Institute, The Australian National University homepage: http://adsri.anu.edu.au/people/robert.php project: http://voson.anu.edu.au Information about the Master of Social Research (Social Science of the Internet specialisation): http://adsri.anu.edu.au/graduate-study/ssi ------------------------------------- Anna Keshelashvili wrote:

I'm looking for a tool that would analyze and visualize outgoing links from a random website (one that I have no administrator's access to). Any suggestions, any ideas, any tools you've used and liked or hated?
thanks, a
