Just to clarify - while the executive has oversight of the budget and broad principles relating to the conference, it is worth noting the very significant amount of work being done by Axel Bruns as Conference Chair and Fay Sudweeks as Program Chair, neither of whom is on the executive. Personally, I'm all for diversity and welcome ideas about conference events.
