Thanks for the tip, John: I may use that if I don't succeed in finding the "perfect" tech I'm looking for. So far, I think my pick is Ampache (http://ampache.org/) which does exactly what I intended, though the management of "Catalogs" (where your mp3 are located) is a little bit buggy.
