[Air-L] Twitter as a recruitment tool

Does anyone know if there is any academic research that has used Twitter as a recruitment tool? I used Twitter to recruit for a study I undertook about unfriending behaviors but am uncertain if any other researchers have used this particular recruitment strategy. Thanks.
