[Air-L] Digital communication textbook

Hi everyone, I teach an 'Introduction to Digital Communication' sophomore course. I use a book called 'Communication Technology Update and Fundamentals' by Grant & Meadows. But I would like to use a new textbook that addresses the social, political, cultural and economic aspects of digital communication technologies. Can anyone recommend any?
