Here is another classic: Palloff, R. M. and K. Pratt (1999). Building learning communities in cyberspace: Effective strategies for the online classroom. San Francisco, Jossey-Bass. This book is a nice read and hits most of the major issues. Discusses the learners in interesting ways. Not a "how-to" book. There are so many websites on e-learning I can't think of the best one, but here's a place to look at for 'how-to' and BP models: http://ois.unomaha.edu/index.html ===== "The distance between here and there is growing; and getting even larger as we speak" (S.
