Bill I have now results from a national survey of the Israeli population (n=1400) I will like to present results on gaps in access and use of the internet in Israel according to ethnicity (Israeli Arabs and Israeli Jews). The results on access are quite exciting as they show a suppresor effect of attitudes to technology best gustavo Gustavo S. Ellen Helsper and I at the OII are putting together a panel focused on survey research on Internet use and its social implications. We invite national studies, like OxIS, but other empirically anchored surveys of use would be welcomed as well. Contact surveys@oii.ox.ac.uk or me with specific proposals.

Hi gang,
Is there any panel on Web 2.0 being formed for the AoIR conference that's looking for more members? I have an idea for a paper abstract but would rather join a panel than submit a sole presentation. It's on religious authority and the power of Google/Technorati.
