Dear Colleagues, Things are quite chilly here in Milwaukee, but the excitement of a new President...and AoIR 10 are keeping us going! We are pleased to announce the following opportunity: The Center for Information Policy Research (CIPR) will sponsor one (1) graduate student for the IR.10 conference. Registration and 3 nights hotel fees (standard room at the conference hotel) will be covered. The student's research must focus on some aspect of information ethics or information policy, and internet studies, broadly conceived. To qualify, the recipient must submit a full paper for acceptance to IR.10 in accordance with the call for papers. Once accepted to the conference, the following should be submitted to Elizabeth Buchanan at cipr@uwm.edu by 1 May 2009: * Accepted paper notification * CV * Brief statement of how the paper will make an impact on the fields of information ethics, policy, and internet studies.
