We are seeking papers that address one or more of the cross-cutting themes and topics highlighted below. Empirical work using quantitative or qualitative research methods are preferred over commentaries, reviews of previous research and trends, or papers focusing strictly on theory. We welcome submissions using a wide variety of data and analytic techniques, assuming they are rigorously employed, and theoretical or methodological submissions, assuming they focus squarely on the topic of the volume.
