Dear Leticia, i manage the e-Learning infrastructure <http://elly.master.unipr.it/2015/> for some masters about healthcare at University of Parma - Italy. The idea is to develop a web lab -named PUNTOZERO- networking moodle, social networks, github pages and web tools to teach, tutor (and research) about healthcare issues to nurses, practitioners and in the future address resources to patients and other possible stakeholders. We'd like to include experts, speakers and innovators about issues such as e-Learning, Virtual Reality, 3D print and additive manufacturing, Healthcare without harm & resiliency, Augmented Reality, etc.. Count me in Leticia! It would be great to have a sort of network of interest among AOIRers about the emerging field of healthcare and internet (Health Big Data, e-Health, Virtual Communities of Patients, etc..). Feel free to contact me for any further question. Anyone is welcome to join the following groups: G+ Community PUNTOZERO <https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/116893872443718307140> (mainly in english language) Facebook group PUNTOZERO <https://www.facebook.com/groups/1522326534729454/> (mainly in italian language) Twitter hashtag #puntozero2016 <https://twitter.com/hashtag/puntozero2016?src=hash> Thanks! Dear Colleagues ,
I’m sending this email on behalf of LAISS – Laboratory of Internet, Health and Society – a laboratory of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), one of the most important public health institutions in Latin America.
At LAISS, we have been researching various topics and issues related to the interface between the Internet and Health, such as the impact of the Internet on the doctor-patient relationships, quality assessments of health information displayed on websites, the practices of virtual patient communities, and the profile of consumers of health information in particular Millennials and Generation Y.
We are sending this message in order to invite colleagues who work on these issues and questions to join the activity about Internet & Health we want to propose for the next annual meeting of AoIR. We ask those who are interested to get in touch by replying to this email.
See you in Berlin!
Best Regards, Leticia Barbosa
