The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication announces two tenure-track faculty openings.
Position #1: Assistant/Associate Professor, New Media
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor with an emphasis in new media to begin August 25, 2003.
The successful candidate will maintain an active research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise students, and supervise graduate theses. Candidates with interests in visual communication, cultural studies, and/or minority media are especially encouraged to apply. The position is contingent on budgetary approval.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in a relevant field, teaching experience, and strong potential for research productivity. Exceptionally qualified ABDs may be considered. Candidates for associate rank must demonstrate a national reputation in research.
