[Air-L] Data colonialism in research

Dear Air-L Community, As an early/middle PhD student, I've recently been introduced to the idea of "data colonialism" and I'd like to incorporate it into my work. I've seen it mentioned in a few calls for papers here but I wonder if any of you might be able to point me toward work you've done that has engaged with the idea. Alternatively, if you think the concept is in some way problematic, I'd love to hear your thoughts too.
