How about focussing on accessible content, beyond standard restrictions, how is the content managed in countries that may (or may not) overly restrict or police the web content available within their respective states bandwidths? I am a doctoral student (Howard University) mass communication and media studies program and very interested in the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) laptops for education for developing countries albeit lately, it is being introduced in developed countries as well. I am thinking of managable and viable ways of conducting a research on the topic. Any suggestions???? I'm currently thinking along the lines of many discontinued countries..... evaluation? assessment? comparative analysis? Kindly provide your input. Greatly appreciate it.
