[Air-l] Real-time tools success with in-person conferences

With largely a government/non-profit crowd expected <http://dowire.org/localedem> I want to introduce a little real-time tech world fun to this conference. Does anyone have recommendations on the best tools to use for: 1. Real-time chat - Stand alone option 2. Real-time chat IRC - Which server, which spyware free clients, other advice 3. Question Board - ability to add a question to the list and have people rank/second them in real-time 4. Anything else? We are planning for between 50 and 100 participants.
