Dear Colleague,
Due to many requests, the Call for Papers submission deadline for the Educational Technology Research Symposium has been extended to October 30.
The Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) is sponsoring its first annual Educational Technology Research Symposium. This two day event will be held February 5-6, 2007 in Austin, Texas. The Symposium is open to everyone - you do not need to be TCEA member to submit a paper or attend. It will provide an opportunity for educational technology researchers to present formal papers in educational technology areas. The Symposium's Web site is located at http://www.tcea.org/symposium/.
You can obtain full information on how to submit your paper for consideration at http://www.tcea.org/symposium/Papers.htm. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings book and on an accompanying CD. Selected papers may be invited to be published in the TechEdge, TCEA's quarterly journal. The new deadline for submitting papers is October 30, 2006.
Note: The registration fee for the Symposium also entitles you to attend the TCEA Annual Convention and Exposition, Into the Next Dimension, February 7-9, 2007 at no extra cost. Some 10,000 educators will participate in this convention to learn about new technologies, sharpen their skills, and network with others interested in educational technology.
Please forward this announcement to your friends and colleagues who might be interested in submitting a paper.
Want to help? If you are willing to volunteer to be a reviewer for conference paper submissions, please send me an e-mail at the address below. Full details will be sent to you.
I hope to see you at TCEA's Educational Technology Research Symposium.
Sincerely,
John T. Thompson, Ph.D.
