Folks, I'm excited to report that the beta version of the new site redesign for the Resource Center for Cyberculture Studies is up and running. Enjoy ... http://www.com.washington.edu/rccs As you might notice, it is almost entirely database driven which means that in the near future we will be able to organize the existing content, especially the book reviews, in new and interesting ways. Moreover, two pages -- Courses in Cyberculture and Events & Conferences -- have been fully automated which means that users can input relevant information regarding their own courses, events, conferences, etc. REQUEST FOR HELP FROM AIR FOLK: Please visit the site and feel free to input your courses and conferences. Thank you! The redesign has been a collaborative project and made possible by the energy and ideas of many folks. First, I wish to thank Jeff Tycz, Martin McGee, and Nectarine Design (http://www.nectarinedesign.com/) for the principal design and programming work. Next, I want to thank Jerry Baldasty, Tony Giffard, and the Department of Communication at the University of Washington who provided a Trust Fund Award that made the design work possible. I also want to thank John Klockner, also of UW's Department of Communication, who has been tireless in helping to launch the site. I hope you enjoy the new redesign, and I look forward to seeing many of you in Maastricht! david silver http://faculty.washington.edu/dsilver/
