This is something I began to get into in my recent article "The real terror of Instagram." http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1177/1354856517750364 I only just scratch the surface, though, here. It's something I'm interested in pursuing much further, particularly through Derrida's late work on animals and following/tracking/tracing. Until then, eager to see what other suggestions folks have.
