Understanding Media Symposium (Last call for participation)

Forty years later, the McLuhan Global Research Network invites scholars, students, artists, and members of the public to participate in this online symposium on the impacts and relevance of this now classic work. The responses online will be curated and displayed at the Understanding Media Critical symposium to be held in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba (McLuhan's alma mater) on June 4, 2004, 12:30 - 2 PM, as part of the annual Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Congress (Multimedia theatre - Rm. 100, Fletcher Argue). This will be a multi-media event. Online comments will be accepted for the web-based counter-environment project for this symposium.
