Convergence: The Journal of Research into New Media Technologies
Convergence is a refereed academic journal which addresses the creative, social, political and pedagogical issues raised by the advent of new media technologies.
Reminder - final submissions date for articles for the Spring 2002 issue is 30 Sept 2001
Submissions and proposals of articles for the Autumn 2002 issue should be received by 30 January 2002
Papers on any of the following areas are welcome: computer games, cable and telecomms, digital photography, VR, control and censorship of the media, copyright, media policy, new media products, interactive TV, CD-ROM developments, the Internet, gender and technology. Proposals for articles or completed papers should be sent to: Julia Knight or Alexis Weedon, Editors, Convergence, Department of Media Arts, University of Luton, 75 Castle Street, Luton, LU1 3AJ, United Kingdom. Tel: +44 1582 734111, Fax: + 44 1582 489014, <Convergence@luton.ac.uk>.
Submission details: Three hard copies and where possible one disk copy (Macintosh Word98 compatible) of all articles should be sent to the editors with the following information attached separately: name, institution and address for correspondence, telephone, fax and email address. Papers should be typed on one side of the sheet with endnotes in accordance with the MLA style sheet (see our website at http://www.luton.ac.uk/Convergence). Authors should also enclose a 50 word biography and an abstract.
Convergence is published by the University of Luton Press <ulp@luton.ac.uk>. Institutional subscription rates: all countries (except N. America) surface mail £60; air mail £70. N. America surface mail USA$126, air mail USA$140. Private subscription rates: all countries (except N. America) surface mail £30, air mail £35. N. America surface mail USA$72, airmail USA$80.
