Requirements include a Ph.D. or advanced ABD in Communication or a related field, an active research program in communication and technology, and teaching experience. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in communication and technology as well as his/her area of expertise, conduct research in communication and technology, and meet standard service and advising requirements. Candidates with a Ph.D., professional visibility, potential for procuring external funding, a strong record of scholarship and teaching, and teaching experience in communication and new technology are preferred, as are candidates whose interests are complementary to those of current faculty.
