Time beyond depicted moment
Hello I´m searching for papers that deal with time in stagnant (digital) media, especially (digital) photos. Or a little bit more precise: the paper should discuss the role of proceeding time in a medium that usually offers no acceleration or presentation of time beyond the depicted moment. Thanks! Dear Dr Humer - This book might be helpful: Draaisma, Dowe. (2001). Metaphors of Memory: a history of the mind. Cambridge, UK, Cambridge University Press. He is a Dutch scholar who considers the relationship between memory and static photo images in a very deep way. At least I would look at his research and his bibliography. Cheers, Denise Denise N.
