Re: [Air-l] Digest mode?
My subscription has also been converted to 'no digest', and I'd like to set it back to 'digest', but don't know how. When I went to the web site Jeremy indicated for making changes to my subscription, the only option I was given was to 'subscribe' to the list. I tried to do this, setting 'digest' as the option, but my effort was rejected by the listserver because I was already subscribed. Could someone please provide clear instructions for how to reset the 'digest' option? Thanks, Susan
ulla sent this solution to reseting your settings earlier in the week: 1) Go to http://listserv.aoir.org/listinfo.cgi/air-l-aoir.org 2) scroll all the way down until you see the button "unsubscribe or edit options" 3) enter your email address (the one that is subscribed to the Listserve) and click on the button 4) On the new page (it has blue bars) that loads, the third and last option is to send a password reminder. Click on the button, check your email account. 5) To change the new password back to your own one, or to change the digest and other options, return to the "new" page and log in 6) On the third page (it has yellow bars and has lots and lots of options) you can change your password, set your delivery options, etc. On Aug 18, 2004, at 1:31 PM, herring@slis.indiana.edu wrote:

Yup, thanks Jeremy. The "digest" option is in a grey box on the third page (step 6). I sent this tutorial in various forms under various subject lines, once about changing your password, once about setting things to digest, and once about how to unsubscribe. We'll just keep posting it until everyone has made the transition. Ulla <quote who="jeremy hunsinger">

I've had reports of it taking up to 5 hours to receive a password once you've requested it. so, be prepared that it won't be an immediate response. so, be prepared to wait a bit. if you don't hear back in 24 hours, then try again, and then if that fails, contact me. jeremy hunsinger jhuns@vt.edu www.cddc.vt.edu www.cddc.vt.edu/jeremy www.tmttlt.com () ascii ribbon campaign - against html mail /\ - against microsoft attachments
