The opportunity to apply for PhD studentships under the new AI-enabled Digital Accessibility PhD programme<https://www.surrey.ac.uk/postgraduate/ai-enabled-digital-accessibility-ada-phd> (ADA) has just been launched - this is a new doctoral scholarships network funded at the University of Surrey by the Leverhulme Trust. Most of the studentships are aimed at UK-based students but a smaller number are available to international students. Additional funding is available for Masters Plus Doctoral Scholarships for students from underrepresented groups. The full list of themes is: 1. Meaningful image/video-to-speech/text accessibility through AI 2. Meaningful speech-to-text accessibility through AI 3. Improving text comprehension and simplification through AI 4. Tools for meaningful cross-language accessibility 5. Enhancing assistive technology through AI 6.
