Is this appropriate? It would seem that this should be off list! Jonathan Stern <jonlwstern@gmail.com> wrote: Sounds like a plan to me. On 10/24/06, Michele White wrote:
Hi Everyone,
There has been discussion on both the general AoIR list and the FPTQ list about getting together in Vancouver during 4S. I propose that we all meet after the reception on Thursday night 2 November at the Hyatt Regency. I know that some of the FPTQ people wanted to discuss a workshop proposal and I think this would be an excellent time to begin this conversation (thanks to Anna Martinson for the suggestion that 4S would be a great time for this conversation) as well as more general dialogues about Internet studies. It makes sense to me to meet near the entrance to the reception at 8:30. I look forward to seeing you all soon. By the way, if people email me that they are meeting us on Thursday then I will know to wait for everyone.
All my best, Michele
