Drinks at 4S in Vancouver on Thursday 2 November
Hi Everyone, There has been discussion on both the general AoIR list and the FPTQ list about getting together in Vancouver during 4S. I propose that we all meet after the reception on Thursday night 2 November at the Hyatt Regency. I know that some of the FPTQ people wanted to discuss a workshop proposal and I think this would be an excellent time to begin this conversation (thanks to Anna Martinson for the suggestion that 4S would be a great time for this conversation) as well as more general dialogues about Internet studies. It makes sense to me to meet near the entrance to the reception at 8:30. I look forward to seeing you all soon. By the way, if people email me that they are meeting us on Thursday then I will know to wait for everyone. All my best, Michele
Sounds like a plan to me. On 10/24/06, Michele White <mwhite@michelewhite.org> wrote:

Is this appropriate? It would seem that this should be off list! Jonathan Stern <jonlwstern@gmail.com> wrote: Sounds like a plan to me. On 10/24/06, Michele White wrote:

Jeremy, I never know how to take you. My first reaction was that it was hostile. I went and got a cup of Java and realized the humor and the truth of it. It was not hostile. It was meant to indicate that the perpetual questioning of propriety is up to the list management of the lists, in this case the executive and they will tell us when something is in appropriate. On Oct 25, 2006, at 7:03 PM, Sam Tilden wrote:
