I had conversations with him about this, too, and I hope that, should it come to pass that there is someday an AoIR meeting in Italy, there can be a remembrance of him as part of the program. Though in English the phrase "a scholar and a gentleman" has become a well-worn cliche, Prof. Roversi was truly a scholar and a gentleman. I extend my condolences particularly to his family and his Italian colleagues, and to those of us on this list and in AoIR. Sj On Jun 28, 2007, at 5:41 AM, Jeremy Hunsinger wrote:
Prof. Roversi will be missed. He was a great colleague and friend to many people in AoIR. A few years ago, he was working on bringing and AoIR conference to Northern Italy and through that I had many great conversations and a wonderful meal with him. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
