Ummm.....perhaps try it on VMWare instead of Paralells. I've used several unique Windows security/forensics programs in VMWare w/o problems that way and w/o having to reboot. It's great to drag-n-drop files/data/logs/outputs from the Windows side right to my OSX desktop for instant use elsewhere.
Disclosure: I'm not familiar with NVIVO or Paralells.

But it is an extremely powerful program. You can mark/tag images, video and audio as well as text. You can really play with your data in many different ways.
