Christians against MySpace?

ABC evening news tonight ran a story implying that some ultra-conservative Christian groups in the U.S. are targeting MySpace as a "pornographic" site contributing to the "moral downfall" of teens. Does anyone have any references on this? Specifics of what groups, what tactics are being employed against MySpace, etc.? Thanks. -- Mark D. A working paper should contain several features of a full paper. At the top of the working paper, write a self-contained abstract of up to 200 words that outlines your aims, scope, and conclusions. Then, give up to five keywords that describe the working paper. In the working paper, 1) State the theme of the paper. 2) Promise a contribution. 3) Provide evidence for the argument that you will present to reach the conclusion. 4) State the structure of the argument and show how you will develop it. 5) Show how the evidence and the argument will lead to a contribution. Evidence may include summaries of empirical work as well as discussion from the literature. 6) Provide a selected reference list to supports the working paper in the same way that a full reference list supports a full paper. Looking for conferences...

Hi I'm looking for conferences where I can present research on web production in general and the impact of the production milieu on form and content in particular. There is one conference relating to media and communication studies where I have presented a paper (the bi-annual Nordic Conference on Media and Communication Research) but that's about it. I anyone could suggest conferences where research on different aspects of media production is usually presented I would be happy to compile a list and distribute it on this list. I have tried searching the web for relevant conferences, using a number of keywords but I'm not satisfied with the result. Hopefully someone can help me out. Hi folks, Just following up on the myspace thread that bounced around here last month: anyone know of any work regarding myspace and race? In particular representation, self-presentation, etc. of race on myspace (or similar sites).
