Can you give me full citation of Bordewijk & Van Kaam (1982) and Van Dyk as well. I am creating a training module for a national government Internet team. I am trying to explain this change as being driven in part by convergence and sociology. LOL. I am amused by the idea that supporting AUT would be political but opposing them is OK because it is non-political. This is doubleplusungood doublethink isn't it. FWIW I support AUT.There is an advert on British TV to encourage people to vote It says "If you don't do politics, you don't do anything." and suggests that if you are interested in the world around you then you are de facto interested in politics. I favour a boycott of Israel, not because of its effect of otherwise on the brutal oppression of the Palestinians but because we do not have to be accomplices in that brutal oppression and a boycott is a non-violent civilised way to express that. You have only to listen to the intemperate language with which the Israeli right has responded - rejecting AUT as irrelevant and in the same breath denouncing them as terrorists - to see that it is having an effect. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. CFP: AGING BY DESIGN III, October 23-24, 2006 Bentley College Waltham, Massachusetts Proposal Deadline July 10, 2006 The Program Committee for Aging by Design III is actively seeking proposals for our upcoming conference. Since its inception, the conference has sought to promote the design requirements of an aging population, explore opportunities this population offers to those designing goods and services, and bridge the gaps among the research, design and business communities. We welcome 30-minute presentations and demonstrations consistent with this theme. The conference is organized in three tracks: 1. Basic research related to aging, with relevance for design practice 2. Design case studies – products, services, living spaces and the workplace 3. You can find some statistics on ownership of laptops, PDAs, etc. in a recent Educause study which looks at IT use in the classroom. citing web pages

Hi everyone - hate to post such a mundane question, but I could use some feedback on citing websites. I frequently quote text from FAQs, Privacy Policies, login screens, etc from sites such as Google or Yahoo. When citing pages such as these, should they be referenced individually as if they are like any Internet document (inline citation as well as a full record in the bibliography)? My concern here is that one can rack up quite an extensive list if each individual page from a FAQ, for example, needs to be fully cited. Or, is it acceptable just to footnote the URL and leave it at that? (I tend to use APA) Thanks, michael ----- Michael T.
