Dear AoIR Community, The *"S.HI.E.L.D. vs Disinformation” Erasmus+ Project* is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the International Conference *"Revisiting Disinformation: Critical Media Literacy Approaches"* which will take place at the University Campus of Gallos at Rethymno, Crete, Greece, on *Friday, 27th June 2025, and Saturday, 28th June 2025*. In an era where digital platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) facilitate the rapid spread of false information, the impact of disinformation should not be underestimated as it increasingly threatens democracy, citizenship, and human rights. Therefore, the conference "Revisiting Disinformation: Critical Media Literacy Approaches" offers a critical space to explore the mechanisms behind disinformation, its psychological and behavioral dimensions, and the global and technological contexts in which it proliferates. We also invite tutorials to run alongside the workshops. Some of the accepted workshops and tutorials will form part of the second edition of the HHAI Summer School.
