Evaluating qualitative research in a structured way?
by Kalpana Shankar 25 Jul '17

25 Jul '17

Dear colleagues: I'm working on a systematic review and the topic of the review is qualitative research in peer review. The Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP), part of Better Value Healthcare Ltd (BVHC), provides an excellent checklist for assessing what is present/absent in a particular qualitative research piece but it's a "yes/no" list. Does anyone know of any tools for evaluating qualitative content in a similar structured fashion? Thanks you! -- Kalpana Shankar Professor of Information and Communication Studies Head of School 2015-2018 School of Information and Communication Studies University College Dublin Belfield 4 Dublin +353(1) 716-8359 kalpana.shankar(a)ucd.ie
