Dezember 2002 Ziele der Winter School Hauptziel der SwissGIS Winter School 2002 ist die Schaffung einer diskursiven Arena in den Bereichen E-Democracy, E-Government, E-Policy und E-Media Society. Fortgeschrittene StudentInnen und junge ForscherInnen tauschen sich gegenseitig aus, lernen andere Projekte kennen und werden von Expertinnen und Experten auf neue, interdisziplinäre Forschungsfragen und Forschungsfelder geführt. Struktur der Winter School Präsentationen von Expertinnen und Experten aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz liefern einen Einstieg in die Debatten rund um die thematischen Schwerpunkte. Eine zweite Vertiefung findet in den Arbeitsgruppen statt, die sich auch mit den eigenen Forschungsarbeiten beschäftigen und neue Impulse vermitteln sollen. Angesprochen werden Graduierte und Studierende der Abschlussphase aus sozialwissenschaftlichen Fächern, die in ihrer Forschung im Bereich der Neuen Medien und Demokratie eine interdisziplinäre Perspektive berücksichtigen wollen. Kosten Die diesjährige SwissGIS Winter School wird vom Schwerpunktprogramm "Zukunft Schweiz" des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds finanziert. Hi all, Colleagues from a number of mental health professions and I are in the process of researching the benefits and drawbacks of receiving clinical supervision online. If you are looking for clinical supervision and would be interested in accessing supervision online for your clinical practice, then being part of this research project could be of great benefit to you.. Technology and Academic Preparation: A Comparative Study

For the couple of years, our team at the Univ. of California, Irvine has been carrying out research on the use of new technologies in diverse social contexts in California schools. During this past year of the study, that involved a qualitative investigation of the technology availability, access, and use in two sets of Southern California high-schools: 5 schools with large numbers of Latino students in low socio-economic status neighborhoods, and 3 schools of predominately White students in wealthier communities. They are self-paced, comprehensive and interactive so they're fairly intense.
