Thereby, the conferences provide important guidance for research and development in this fast-moving domain of study. The annual EGOV conferences bring together leading researchers and professionals from all over the globe and from many disciplines. Over the years, the interest has increased tremendously. The 2007 conference attracted some 140 participants from more than 30 countries all over the world including developing countries, with 37 contributions in outstanding research, 31 contributions in ongoing research, 5 projects contributions and 6 workshops. Also, 20 PhD papers were accepted and presented at the doctoral colloquium preceding the conference. Hence the EGOV Conferences have proven once again its capacity to serve as a platform for academics and professionals and as an important ground for networking in the community. The EGOV Conference Series hosts four distinct formats of contributions: Scientific papers (distinguished between completed research and ongoing research); project presentations, and workshops. These formats encourage scientific rigor and discussions of state of the art in the study domain, but also welcome innovative research work in progress, and studies of practical e-Government projects and systems implementation. It is meant to promote the free communication of knowledge. The University Library has taken a leading role in that endeavor. What journals for me?

Sorry if you do not have time for this just delete it. This is not directly about net research. Seems logical for me to ask at this point in this list's history for suggestions on what to read in terms of journals to prepare for a thesis but more so for a place to write. I find myself a member of AOIR and the Canadian Mathematics Society. My thesis is not officially started but my boss Leroy Stone a 30 year veteran of sociology wants me to look at the baby boom retiring and taking their operation knowledge out the door at our workplace. Right now I am doing a text search of some documents. My program is systems science, my back ground is in critical legal studies, statistics, geography and I have been reading since 1997 out from a core of QA76.9 social impact of computing studies through sociology of science and tech stopping in on hacking laws and reading about gender and computing. I have read many of the senior scholars on this list so would respect your advice.
