Call for Papers: The Philosophy and Law of Information Regulation in India

Hello, The Centre for Law and Policy Research, India, is calling for papers for a volume on 'The Philosophy and Law of Information Regulation in India'. This project is an effort to collate multi-disciplinary scholarship on the subject of the law and philosophy of information regulation, with a specific focus on India. We invite multi-disciplinary submissions from fields of law, history of science, science and technology studies, informatics and information sciences, political and economic philosophy, design studies, and other related fields to reflect on the relationship between law, technology and information, with specific reference to the institutions of public law in India. Submissions taking a comparative approach between jurisdictions addressing similar concerns are particularly appreciated. Need resources to get up to speed on QAnon

Hello AOIR'rs, I'm a cybersecurity journalist coming back from a 4 year health-related hiatus. I need to get up to speed on the whole QAnon conspiracy pretty quickly for a couple of projects, and am more out of the loop than I thought. If anyone has any pointers to primary and secondary sources relating to QAnon, I'd really appreciate it. My background is the opposite side of the coin: hacktivism with a focus on Anonymous. Starting from scratch here, so all suggestions are appreciated, particularly since half the accounts seem to be banned from Twitter and the other half blocked me ten years ago. The New Organs is a project to gather, archive and investigate the theories and realities of corporate surveillance. Over the past year we've collected stories about weird online ads — ads that seem to know too much, as well as your theories of why you might be seeing them. It is part of the Palgrave Series on Communication for Social Change. It focuses on the processes and practices of deliberation that go into policymaking, across space and time, and the global-local spectrum. It stitches together a critical media policy ethnography, drawing on over a 100 formal interviews and informal conversations with policy actors from South Asia, in a bid to present a deliberative policy analysis of policymaking for community radio in the region.
