Hi again One more thing: Thanks for pointers to articles which discuss when the "critical mass index" is reached; i.e. from how many index points citations start to multiply and live their own life. Thx, -- Daniel Jung

Google scholar index timeline
by Daniel Jung 01 Jul '16

01 Jul '16

Hi all Is there a way to make a timeline (more differentiated than just years) of the impact of a certain publication? Is there a tool? There is a publication which over the course of five year has grown to be an important reference. At some point, the "critical mass" index of n citations was reached, and people began to cite it because other had cited it. I want to find out when this point was reached, and if one can indicate a turning point after a certain publication. I have 135 publications over five years, but this is too coarse. Does anyone have experience with this procedure? Do the guys at Google scholar answer mail and help; and how should I phrase my request? Thx, -- Daniel Jung

TayTweets Dataset?
by Heinz, Lisa 30 Jun '16

30 Jun '16

Hello... I wondered if someone on this list was able to capture all of Microsoft's Tay bot's tweets and mentions from the time it went live until it was shut down, March 23-24? I did not get my collector setup in time, so I am looking for someone who collected Tay's original tweets and mentions, and who would be willing to share them. I am primarily interested in the avatar's meltdown as an historical marker in the adoption of this technology. ~~Lisa ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lisa Heinz PhD Student in Mass Communication E.W.
