This panel aims to explore the perspective of Global South stakeholders. Cybersecurity is central in international cooperation in the cyber domain, however, to strengthen a coherent and inclusive transnational governance approach in this field, particular attention should be paid on the fast-changing internet geography. Given that most of internet users are now located in the Global South, it is crucial to enhance a dialogue beyond Western-centric perspectives, and empower governments, business, and civil society actors from the Global South to play a key role in this debate. Announcing the #AoIR2022 Keynote Speaker

It is with great pleasure that we announce the keynote speaker for AoIR 2022: Decolonizing the Internet <https://aoir.org/aoir2022/> will be Nanjala Nyabola. Nanjala is a writer and researcher based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her work focuses on the intersection between technology, media, and society. She has held numerous research associate positions including with the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), the Oxford Internet Institute (OII), and other institutions, while also working as a research lead for several projects on human rights broadly and digital rights specifically around the world. She is a fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), the Digital Forensic Lab at the Atlantic Council, The Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology (CIPIT) at Strathmore University, and the Centre for International Cooperation (CIC) at NYU. She has published in several academic journals including the African Security Review and The Women's Studies Quarterly, and contributed to numerous edited collections. Nanjala also writes commentary for publications like The Nation, Al Jazeera, The Boston Review and others. She is the author of Digital Democracy, Analogue Politics: How the Internet Era is Transforming Politics in Kenya (Zed Books, 2018) and Travelling While Black: Essays Inspired by a Life on the Move (Hurst Books, 2020). Dear Colleagues, Ayala Fader discusses her book, *Hidden Heretics*: *Jewish Doubt in the Digital Age*, answering Yzza Sedrati's questions. https://campanthropology.org Best, Ilana Press blurb: What would you do if you questioned your religious faith, but revealing that would cause you to lose your family and the only way of life you had ever known? *Hidden Heretics *tells the fascinating, often heart-wrenching stories of married ultra-Orthodox Jewish men and women in twenty-first-century New York who lead “double lives” in order to protect those they love. While they no longer believe that God gave the Torah to Jews at Mount Sinai, these hidden heretics continue to live in their families and religious communities, even as they surreptitiously break Jewish commandments and explore forbidden secular worlds in person and online. Drawing on five years of fieldwork with those living double lives and the rabbis, life coaches, and religious therapists who minister to, advise, and sometimes excommunicate them, Ayala Fader investigates religious doubt and social change in the digital age. The internet, which some ultra-Orthodox rabbis call more threatening than the Holocaust, offers new possibilities for the age-old problem of religious uncertainty. Fader shows how digital media has become a lightning rod for contemporary struggles over authority and truth. She reveals the stresses and strains that hidden heretics experience, including the difficulties their choices pose for their wives, husbands, children, and, sometimes, lovers. In following those living double lives, who range from the religiously observant but open-minded on one end to atheists on the other, Fader delves into universal quandaries of faith and skepticism, the ways digital media can change us, and family frictions that arise when a person radically transforms who they are and what they believe. WiCON 2022 is the continuation of, and builds upon, the success of the past editions in this series that focus on various aspects of wireless technology. Building on these past successes, the 15th WiCON 2022 aims to tackle the challenges of wireless Internet communications, covering topics ranging from technology issues to new applications, especially focusing on current, novel, and future next-generation wireless Internet technologies, 5G, 6G, IoT, Industrial IoT, Healthcare IoT, and related topics. WiCON 2022 aims to bring together researchers, leading academic scientists to share their experiences and research findings on all aspects of Wireless Internet Communications. It also offers a leading interdisciplinary forum for academics, educators, and practitioners to present and discuss the latest technologies, developments, practical challenges and approaches to Wireless Internet. Prospective authors are kindly encouraged to participate in the conference by sending Full Papers, Work-in-Progress Papers, and Posters of their work. Last but not the least, middleware and platform providers, application developers, and smart object providers are also welcome. WiCON attendees will present novel ideas, exchange points of views, and foster collaborations.
